whoever has a friend has a treasure. Grandchildren have champions who love them unconditionally and are involved in their lives. Grandparents are people who have nothing to do, they are only busy when we go to visit them. Does this mean grandparents have to follow the rules at all times?
Grandparents have always played an important role in family life, b ut over the last twenty years, many have had increased responsibility for.
There are many who talk about them, the help they mean for parents in these times.
But, what are they for children?
Remember that they've raised their own children and have years of learning to build upon. They must see a woman who is secure, a woman who is comfortable in her own skin. That is Gods mandate for us as grandfathers. Often grandmothers love and nurture grandchildren, but grandfathers need to be equally involved. If you're a parent: Check in with your parents and partner's parents. Now, more than ever before, our grandsons need a male role model who will be the man God intended him to be, a man after Gods own heart. Grandparents should try to remember that they are not the parents. Knowing when meal time occurs, how much time the child needs to get ready for an event, when outside playtime is okay, and so forth will allow you to provide more consistency for your grandchild. There are many who talk about them, the help they mean for parents in these times when conciliation is a precious word that designates a chimera.
